Dr. Kugan Raman is a Clinical Lecturer and Otorhinolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). A graduate of the International Medical University (2009) with higher surgical training from University Malaya, he has previously served as the Head of Department and Otorhinolaryngologist at both Hospital Labuan and Hospital Cyberjaya. Dr. Kugan is a dedicated advocate for global surgical excellence, serving as an International Surgical Ambassador (ISA) for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and is a recipient of the RCSEd Future Leaders Program (FLP) Mentorship. In addition to his surgical roles, he is a certified International Sleep Specialist under the World Sleep Society (WSS), with clinical and research interests centered on rhinology and the management of sleep-related breathing disorders (SRBD).
