Associate Professor Dr. Sarah Binti Rahmat is currently the Head of the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She holds a PhD in Audiology from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, with research interest in auditory electrophysiology & psychoacoustic, cochlear implantation, islamization in hearing & speech sciences and community audiology. She is currently the president of Malaysia National Society of Audiologists (MANSA), contributing to national audiology workforce planning and development. With over 40 publications and more than 100 citations, her work has garnered multiple awards grants, and consultation project, acknowledging her impactful research and commitment in audiology.
