
Associate Professor Dr Dipak Banarsi Dass is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and has worked in Kuala Lumpur Hospital and University Hospital (PPUM) for the past 20 years in different disciplines. He obtained his MBBS from University Of Mysore, India, in 1992. He then commenced specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Malaya from 2001-2005 and was subsequently awarded the Masters in Otorhinoloaryngology( MS ORL HNS ). He then returned to Kuala Lumpur Hospital In 2005. He is involved as a speaker in both International and Local seminars and forums. He is also involved in training, teaching and gazetting junior doctors interested in Otorhinolaryngology and Rhinology. Associate Professor Dr Dipak underwent fellowship training in 2007 at Kuala Lumpur Hospital. In 2009, he went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore as a Rhinology Fellow. During his training there for a year, he gained valuable experience in Rhinoplasty and Reconstructive surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Management of Snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He has also published in peer reviewed journals both locally and Internationally.Appointed as Clinical Associate Professor for KPJUC, involved in training Masters students in Otorhinolaryngology (KPJ master’s program) and Training of Staff Nurses on ENT Post Basic training.
