Dr. Nashrah Maamor is an academic and audiologist at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) specializing in auditory neurophysiology and central auditory processing. Following her initial training at UKM, she earned postgraduate degrees from the University of Manchester and The University of Western Australia. Her expertise was furthered during a research fellowship at the National Centre for Rehabilitative Auditory Research (NCRAR) in Oregon, investigating the impact of noise on aging and compromised auditory systems. A dedicated researcher and mentor, she has published papers in refereed journals and supervises a significant number of postgraduate students. At the Faculty of Health Sciences, UKM she teaches audiological instrumentation and Auditory electrophysiology while providing clinical consultations for complex cases. Her work bridges the gap between research and practice, specifically in managing intricate auditory processing difficulties and conducting advanced auditory evoked potential assessments.
